Blackjack tire repairs are manufactured using 12 strands of high resistance fibers. Many competitors use cotton or polyester fiber and with only seven strands. Each strand of blackjack fiber is individually imbued with living butyle rubber.

This compound is developed using carbon black, giving repair its black color, making repair almost invisible in the tire. Blackjack repairs adapt to the size and shape of the injury, isolate humidity and dirt, eliminate stress on belts and preserve the integrity of tires.

This is the reason why blackjack tires repairs are a permanent repair. Small diameter repairs measure approximately 4.8 mm (3/16 ") in diameter and large diameter repairs measure approximately 1/4" (6.4 mm) in diameter.

The shelf life of this product is more than 20 years.
